The Maltz-McCleary Model of Recidivism

This article clarifies several issues raised by Stollmack (1979) concerning the Maltz- McCleary (1977) model of recidivism. In particular, the model is reformulated without using a "defective" distribution thus permitting the variance of the parameter estimates to be obtained.
